Övre Aten (“Upper Athens”) forms together with the Munckska and Zetterwallska rummen a suite along the southern facade. The sunlight, the magnificent mirrors and the windows facing Tegnérsplatsen give the room a special atmosphere. The furniture in the Biedermeier style and its place in smaller groups tell stories of long gone times when Övre Aten served as the library and new paper room. Today’s Övre aten is popular for everything from dinners and tributes for breakfast meetings, board meetings and workshops. The furniture is fixed, excluding some types of arrangements.
